Arabs hold emergency meeting on Israeli strikes on Gaza

Police and witnesses were quoted by private news agency UNB as saying, the two buses collided in a fatal accident at about 12 p.m. local time (0600 GMT), killing four passengers instantly. The injured were admitted to different local hospitals.

Explosion in southern Afghanistan kills dozens

However, a witness said it was a suicide attack and more than 50 people were killed. 77 Kurdish rebels killed in northern Iraq

In a statement posted on its website, the General Staff of Turkish Army said that Tuesday's clashes have killed 77 fighters of outlawed Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK), bringing the guerrilla death toll to 230 since the beginning of the operations. The General Staff said that the Turkish Army encountered several PKK groups and there were clashes in two different areas on the sixth day of the operation.

At least forty persons were killed in Pakistan

By SPA Islamabad : At least forty persons were killed when a suicide bomber struck a gathering of tribal elders (Jirga) in Pakistan s tribal areas Sunday, police said. More than thirty-five persons were wounded in the attack in village Zarghon of Darra Adamkhel where notables from five tribal clans had gathered. The suicide bomber attacked when the assembly had ended. The injured persons were removed to hospitals in Peshawar and Kohat.

Iraqi high-ranking judge shot dead in Baghdad

Palestinian negotiator calls for ceasefire to save Gaza

Pakistan tests short-range ballisti missile

Israeli Army forces detain 56 Palestinian in the West Bank

Some 43 Palestinian in Harbon were arrested when the Israeli forces carried out raid and search operations, in the pretext of searching for wanted. Palestinian sources said that Israeli forces radied that city with 30 military machinary and imposed curfews prior the detention process. The forces detained five Palestinian in the city of Bethlehem who are said to be affiliated with Fatah Movement.

Over 100 children missing from Afghan orphanage

KABUL, February 13 (RIA Novosti) - As freezing weather continues in Afghanistan, an orphanage with a broken roof and almost no food supplies has been abandoned by 112 children, Pazhvak news agency reported on Wednesday. Of the 157 children that were living in the children's home in the Ghazni province, only the youngest girls remain in the building, in two rooms where the roof is still intact, the agency said citing a report by local authorities. The report said the children who abandoned the home do not have winter clothes.

Thirty one killed in launch capsize incident in Buriganga
