Three people stabbed to death in west Delhi

By IANS, New Delhi : Three members of a family were stabbed to death by an unidentified person at their home in Rajnagar Colony in west Delhi, police said Saturday. Vinod Verma, a telephone operator at the Hungarian Embassy, his wife Pushpa and daughter-in-law Pooja were killed Friday night. Verma's adopted son Nitin was also stabbed and is recovering at a hospital in Palam. Police are suspecting that a property dispute may be the cause of the murder.

Two arrested for double murder in Delhi

Teenager arrested for killing Sikh cabbie in US

Chicago : A teenager was charged with the murder of a Sikh cab driver whose burnt body was found early this month in Seattle.

Earnest Lennell Collins Jr., 18, was charged Tuesday with first-degree murder of Jagit Singh, 43. He was arrested Monday from Chicago.

Singh died after being shot twice in the head July 10. Singh was allegedly shot to death by Collins, who later torched the cab, according to court papers.

When fire fighters reached the spot, they found Singh dead in his cab.

Five army officers get jail term for corruption
