By TCN News, नये साल का जश्न सभी लोग अपने-अपने तरीके से मनाते हैं. लेकिन 31 दिसंबर 2007 की रात को रामपुर सीआरपीएफ कैंप के सिपाहियों ने ऐसा जश्न मनाया, जिसने छह परिवारों की जिंदगी बर्बाद कर दी. कई स्वतंत्र जांच संगठनों ने अपनी जांच में पाया कि यह कोई आतंकी घटना नहीं थी. सीआरपीएफ के जवानों ने नए साल के जश्न में शराब के नशे में आपस में ही गोलीबारी कर ली थी. इसमें सात जवानों सहित एक रिक्शा चालक भी मारा गया.

250 kg TNT explosives seized in Egypt

Acting on a tip-off, the security forces discovered the explosives buried in the sand. They were of the same type used in terror attacks in Sinai in recent years. Man kills cousin, burns body parts in furnace

Munna Sahu, a resident of Sagar town, around 250 km from here, was arrested Sunday evening. "Sahu suspected his cousin Shankar of having illicit relations with his wife. He killed Shankar on Thursday at the latter's home. Sahu then brought the body to his house, cut it into pieces and burnt it in the furnace to destroy evidence," Dinesh Kumar Kaushal, a police official in Sagar, told IANS on phone.

The car bomb exploded around 4 a.m. (0200 GMT) next to a building occupied by Spain's Guardia Civil, the paper said, quoting police sources. There had been no warning. Police suspect the Basque separatist group ETA may have been responsible for the bombing.
