By ए. मिसराब, TwoCircles.net, मुम्बई: मुख्यतः हैदराबाद में केंद्रित राजनैतिक संगठन आल इंडिया मजलिस-ए-इत्तेहादुल मुस्लिमीन ने आन्ध्र और तेलंगाना के इलाकों से बाहर पाँव पसारते हुए 15 अक्टूबर को होने जा रहे महाराष्ट्र विधानसभा चुनावों में अपने 24 प्रत्याशी खड़े किए हैं. जैसी आशा थी, ये सारे प्रत्याशी मुस्लिम बहुल इलाकों में खड़े किए गए हैं, विशेषकर मराठवाड़ा में, जो आज़ादी के पहले हैदराबाद के निजाम के सूबे में शामिल था. अकेले मराठवाड़ा से अधिक प्रत्याशियों को खड़ा करने का कारण भी ज़ाहिर ही है क्योंकि नांदेड़ में 11 पार्षदों के साथ मुंसीपाल्टी स्तर पर एमआईएम के पैर मजबूत हैं. यही कारण है कि नांदेड़ को एमआईएम की गतिविधियों का केन्द्र माना जाता है.
