By IANS, Hyderabad : Telugu superstar and Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) president K. Chiranjeevi lost the assembly elections from one constituency but was elected from the other. Chiranjeevi, whose party failed to make its mark in the elections, lost from Palacole in his native West Godavari district in coastal Andhra. He was defeated by B. Usha Rani of the Congress by over 5,000 votes. Chiru, as he is popularly known among his fans, won Tirupati seat in Chittoor district in Rayalaseema region. He defeated B. Karunakar Reddy of the Congress by over 10,800 votes.
